Nino Negri Winery, founded in 1897, is the biggest winery in Italy’s Valtellina and the symbol of mountain winemaking.
There are more than 35 hectares of vines at the heart of the estate.
Nebbiolo grapes, used to produce Sfursat di Valtellina and Valtellina Superiore within the appellation’s various subzones, are grown in the vineyards located in the heart of the Alps, at between 250 and 700 metres above sea level.
Danilo Drocco, a manager and oenologist with a wealth of experience in the world of Nebbiolo, is at the helm of all winery operations.
His wines are unique and distinguished by the great elegance of their aromatic profile and the rich sapidity of their palate.
