The Wine Society has bought every vintage of this since 2014, and it's easy to see why. A blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet, it's from an estate southwest of Libourne, in the Entre deux Mers. There's no oak used in the winemaking or ageing, which helps to keep the price at this very reasonable level. A good, solid everyday claret – aromatic, fresh and softly fruited.
