Domaine Cordier, Clos de la Maison Mâcon, Burgundy, 2020

Fans of the Mâcon style of Chardonnay should make a beeline for this new listing, which displays delicious Mâcon typicity. Domaine Corder is located in the village of Fuissé and manages 30 hectares, spread across eight villages and 100 different terroirs. It's a family estate, currently in conversion to organic and biodynamic farming, and the vineyards are ploughed by horse. This is a spicy, quite rich and full style of Mâcon, with buttery roundness and white flower notes. Very good indeed.
