Domaine Montangeron, Fleurie, Burgundy 2021

The Wine Society has an excellent selection of Beaujolais on its list, including this long-time listing from Fleurie. In the warm 2020 vintage it's more generous than in some previous years, but still a delightful glass, with perfumed cherry fruit, supple and juicy. The alcohol is punchy, but it's not out of balance and there is real value here.
