There are some great-value St-Nicolas de Bourgueil wines on the high street (also seek out Les Terrasses at Tesco). This organic Cabernet Franc is beautifully aromatic, sappy and earthy with notes of sour dark cherry and a lick of minerality. Dark, fresh and structured.
