Drinking Window: 2022 - 2025
This Exhibition own-label wine is made by Domaine des Alexandrins, which started out as an agency supplying vineyard labour but diversified into winemaking. The company rents 10 hectares in the northern Rhône, including 1ha in Crozes-Hermitage. It works without pesticides or herbicides and ages all its wines for between one and four years in barrel. Very keenly priced, this displays lovely northern Rhône typicity, with blackberry, raspberry and blueberry fruit, and a hint of bacon and iodine. Shows the ripeness of the 2020 vintage and is charmingly drinkable.
