A recioto style of dessert wine made from very late-picked Petit Manseng. The Balaguer is a warm wind that blows from the south and plays on these grapes which are left to dry out, changing the colour to deep gold. Just one nose and you can see this is a super late-harvest style, bursting with grapey, raisiny, orange peel and spice notes, warm and full. Pudding in a glass - would be perfect with mince pies!
