History:

This small, high-lying Château once formed part of the large Lafaurie-Peyraguey estate but in 1879 was sold off to the Grillon family who in 1914 sold it on to Eugène Garbay (already owner of neighbouring Château Haut-Bommes) and wine merchant Fernand Ginestet. Garbay gave his shares to his grandsons Pierre and Bernard Pauly, and a few years later Ginestet passed his to the family firm. Nowadays, the firm is constituted in GFA (Groupement Familial Agricole). The headship has been assured by Jacques Pauly and his wife Jacqueline since 1969, though it is their daughter, Martine Langlais-Pauly, who now runs the estate.
