Vinexpo

Vinexpo is an internationally recognised wine and spirits fair held on alternate years in Bordeaux and Hong Kong (Asia-Pacific).

It started in 1981 by the Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce and Industry with an estimated 524 producers from 21 countries and 11,000 visitors from 50 countries.

Today there are over 2,400 exhibitors with more than 40,000 visitors from 148 countries around the world expected to attend the three day events.

In 2012, Vinexpo Asia-Pacific takes place from 29-31 May in Hong Kong, with the first day coinciding with the opening of the Decanter Asia Wine Awards.

Decanter will also be presenting a Vinexpo seminar entitled: ‘Discovering the Chinese Wine Lover’. The 2013 fair will be held in Bordeaux.
