Tokaj is home to some of the world's finest sweet wines, but it’s increasingly becoming known also for its dry whites. Most of these are made from Furmint, but this one is 100% Hárslevelu, made by the Bai family from vineyards in the heart of the region, in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains. The soils here are volcanic, and give the wine a delicate minerality, which is allied to juicy, generous white peach flavours and a leafy, citrus nose. Bags of character, despite the low alcohol.
