Rich, spicy, fairly weighty, good honest wine if not overly complex, with solid structure and easy appeall.

Nose rather cardboardy with milk chocolate notes; ripe fruit on palate, but rather simple and without concentration: red berries, confected; Firm acidity and yielding but sandy tannins. Needs to be drunk.

Tasting: Marlborough Pinot Noir

Lifted, wild strawberry and sweet-spice aromas. Round and rich with a lot of oak. Concentrated and creamy but a touch too much oak.
