Andrew Jefford

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Super-authentic Pinot scents here, with lovely freshness, poise and purity. Perfect to shoving into a line of Burgundies to win over the sceptical. On the palate, this is a touch sinewy to begin with, but behind there’s lots of elegant, pure Pinot fruit ready to swing in, and by the end of the palate the wine is admirably balanced.

Roger Jones

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Sweet rhubarb on nose with hints of framboise. Luscious texture in the mouth, perfectly balanced oak, and a long, lingering silky finish; would love this with some grey legged partridge.

Alessandro Marchesan

Tasting: Tasmania & Victoria Pinot Noir

Pronounced and aromatic on the nose with complex notes of white pepper and vanilla. Full bodied, rich and elegant with lovely ripe raspberries fruit character. Long and juicy.
