Tasting: Coonawarra & Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

Although the nose is quite closed there are lovely delicate fruit evolving in the glass with soft tannins, quite happy to drink this now, leaves a very pleasant aftertaste.

Pierre Mansour

Tasting: Coonawarra & Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

Dusty, cedary, quite savoury. Full, punchy tannins, firm palate, some attractive sweet fruit. Begging for food. Drink now to 2017.

Anthony Rose

Tasting: Coonawarra & Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon

Medium intense colour, pleasant dark berry fruit, a touch of chocolate, a tad on the short side as the tannins pull up fairly quickly.; maybe it just needs a bit more time for the tannins to soften, but hard to see beyond the slightly herbaceous fruit character.
