Brexit and Wine
Brexit and wine: all the latest reaction
The UK’s vote to leave the European Union on 23 June sent shockwaves through the country’s economy, political system and society.
Nearly 100% of wine merchants and retailers canvassed by the Wine & Spirit Trade Association had wanted the UK to remain in the EU.
But, 52% of those who attended polling stations voted leave. Brexit has since lurched into reality, and the consequences are still being understood.
Here, you can find commentary and news on how Brexit might affect wine lovers and the wine world in general.
