Tasting: Napa & Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon

Lush juicy blackberry and plum nose. Ripe and succulent, with plenty of upfront fruit. The tannins are ripe too and balanced by good acidity, though the alcohol seems quite high. Plenty of energy here, though it’s rather wild and unfocused. Good length, with a robust finish.
