History:
Château Belgrave is one of the oldest growths in the Medoc. Actually situated in Saint-Laurent but bordering on the Sait-Julien appellation with only a stream seperating them. Château Belgrave suffered during the complicated period that the Medoc went through after the Second World War.
The estate went through various stages of renewal, owned by several different companies. Refurbishment of the winemaking and ageing facilites was finally completed in 1986 when Professor Alain Regnier advanced the methods used for cultivating the vineyard and by Michel Rolland in the winemaking, selection and ageing. These changes meant that the wine recieved praise across the board and is still among the elite in the Medoc.
