Is there any instrument that can measure the temperature? Otherwise it would be quite difficult to distinguish 15? from 18? I guess? My another question is: If the restaurant serves the red wine too warm, what can we do to cool it down in short time? Thank you.

You leave the wine in the decanter from 10 to 15 minutes.
