There may have been no Outstanding scores, but our judges were impressed at the consistently high quality, particularly from Chardonnay and from the 2009 and 2010 vintages in our panel tasting as featured in the Decanter May 2013 issue. Very Pinot on the nose with excellent ripe fruit on the palate. Lovely, pure apple fruit and lots going on. Good chewy texture and a long finish. Lacks the classic elegance of Champagne, but is still a very good example of UK sparkling wine.
